Attorney Hadaway, herself, has experienced both her mother-in-law’s incapacity by severe stroke (and surviving for 13 years afterward) as well as her mother’s diabetes, eventual blindness, hearing loss, and mental decline –and her accompanying transition from independence to assisted living to skilled nursing home care. In short, Attorney Hadaway is very familiar with the Elder Care Journey, and understands that traditional estate planning for death is not enough.
